Hi, I’m Marc! I grew up in Paris, began my engineering career there, and later moved to California, where my American wife and I raised our children.
While vacationing in Moorea, I fell in love with the island, its people, and its breathtaking landscapes. We soon bought a home—and this beautiful catamaran. Now living here full-time, I’m delighted to welcome you aboard TUATAU V, alongside our wonderful bilingual Polynesian crew: Manea, our experienced captain, and Kahaya, our friendly hostess.

Captain
I’m Manea, your captain aboard TUATAU V. Born and raised in Moorea, the ocean has always been my home. With over 10 years of experience as a captain, I’ve sailed extensively throughout the Polynesian islands.
I love what I do and enjoy guiding our guests through these beautiful waters, whether it’s finding the perfect lagoon, sharing local insights, or simply ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey. My goal is for you to feel relaxed, safe, and fully immersed in the magic of Moorea. I look forward to welcoming you on board.

Hostess
I’m Kahaya your hostess aboard TUATAU V, and like Manea, I am originally from Moorea. Growing up surrounded by island life and traditions, I bring a genuine sense of Polynesian hospitality to every voyage.
I love cooking and take great pleasure in preparing and sharing local flavors, along with stories about the culture, history, and daily life of the islands. Having worked alongside Manea on many previous tours, I am a familiar and welcoming presence on board, always making sure guests feel comfortable, cared for, and truly connected to Moorea.
